Baked CAPRESE DIP!

This recipe was created when Caprese salads were all the craze! It combines
my favorite flavors, with just a hint of garlic. I love warm appetizers that are
simple to make ahead of time, whether I am the hostess, or looking to take
something fabulous and different to a party or gathering. I love garlic in
moderation…just enough to add a little zip. Try this recipe before your big
SUPERBOWL PARTY, I am sure it will be one you will want to share!

BAKED CAPRESE DIP

¾ c. fresh basil
¾ c. cherry tomatoes
2 cloves garlic
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ c. Greek yogurt
2 c. mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 tsp. kosher salt
½ tsp. coarse black pepper

Preheat oven to 350°. Set aside 4 to 5 basil leaves for garnish and chop
remaining basil. Slice cherry tomatoes in quarters; set aside a few for garnish. Peel and mince garlic cloves. In a mixing bowl,
combine cream cheese, yogurt, mozzarella, chopped basil, sliced
tomatoes, minced garlic, salt and pepper.

Mix well.Pour into serving dish and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Garnish
with fresh basil and sliced tomatoes. Serve Baked Caprese Dip with favorite crackers or chips”
